Our Trip to Japan

"Overall, our trip went very well and we were extremely happy. This is both with all your pre-trip work / support and with the trip whilst we were away.

The flights and connections to Niseko were smooth and the team met us easily and got us to our accommodation without any hassle.

We were extremely happy with the Snow Crystal Apartments and would recommend them to anyone. It was so great to be able to just don the ski boots etc and clomp across the road to the bottom lift and be on our way. The apartment was a fantastic size for us and we all loved coming home to it. The only suggestion we had is that the 'ski room' is really just a storage place. It wasn't much of a 'drying room' and there was sometimes small puddles of water below where snow thawed that was stuck on ski binding etc. However, that is our only complaint.

The Ski Max/Japan staff were really helpful and responsive when we had questions. They still had our names wrong for the transfers (even after we told them when we arrived) but we eventually got that sorted out and everything worked on the relevant day.

Amanda's flights to Bali went very well and the connection worked fine (thankfully!).

The Tokyo leg was also great. We had a slight concern on arrival to the hotel when they said we didn't have a booking, but it ended up being in Megan's name, not mine. Again, once that was sorted out, everything was great. Shibuya was a great location to have as a hub and we did all the exploring and shopping we could manage after skiing hard for a week!
